Skibinski Show Stock was established in 2008, although our origins go back over 30 years.  As a family, we have shown sheep, cattle, hogs and goats.  We are passionate about the livestock industry and fully support the value it provides the youth who become involved in a livestock project.  Our ultimate goal is to provide not only quality animals for these young people, but also pass on that passion for the livestock industry by sharing our knowledge of selecting, feeding, grooming and showing their animals.  We truly make ourselves available as a resource to 4-H and FFA members and their families because we love what we do.

The cattle branch of Skibinski Show Stock, located near Ashton, Nebraska about an hour north of Grand Island or Kearney, began in the 1990’s when we made the decision to AI a hand full of our top cows to club calf bulls.  We continued to work on improving the herd genetics through AI breeding and also added purchased heifers from Rick Schultz Show Cattle, Sieck Show Cattle, Sullivan Farms, Stevenson Show Stock, Doug Setlik and Rosie Wilson.

BJ has always had a strong interest in the hog industry.  So in 2013 he bought a gilt from Bangert Show Stock which he showed and later bred.  Since then, we have added gilts and bred gilts from Shipley Swine Genetics, Lambright Show Pigs and Kent Show Pigs.  The hogs are also located near Ashton, Nebraska.

Twin Prairies Show lambs is the sheep branch of the operation located near Ord, Nebraska; also about an hour north of Grand Island or Kearney.  Jayme and Dawn have developed a strong ewe base and Megan is beginning her goat flock.  Follow the link to Twin Prairies to find more information and an excellent group of lambs, ewes and rams.
